Called a throwing disc, a flying disc or simply Frisbee®, the origin of this floating top can be traced back to a bakery on the American east coast where, in the 40s, cakes were sold on a round metal plate.
After the baker saw how the kids played with the empty plate, the idea was born!
Now there are many variations of this toy… whether it’s played freestyle, in ultimate or in disc golf. Even dog lovers have discovered this disc and train their pets with the somewhat smaller dog Frisbee.
